El mezclador de chorro de Alfa Laval está diseñado para la mezcla de líquidos, la dispersión de gases (aireación, desaireación y carbonatación) y la mezcla de polvos en depósitos de proceso y almacenamiento de los sectores lácteo, alimentario, de bebidas, cervecero, sanitario, de productos para el hogar y el cuidado personal, y biotecnológico. Cuando el depósito está vacío, el mezclador de chorro también funciona como un excelente sistema de limpieza in situ (CIP), lo que permite ahorrar agua, productos de limpieza y energía en comparación con el uso de un sistema CIP con bola rociadora.
How does the jet mixer work
Principio de operación
Los mezcladores de chorro rotativo se colocan debajo de la superficie del líquido. El líquido se alimenta a través de las boquillas del mezclador de chorro giratorio. Para lograr una circulación óptima dentro del tanque, el sistema utiliza un circuito de circulación cerrado. Dos o cuatro boquillas giran alrededor de los ejes horizontal y vertical. Unidad montada sobre patines

Unmatched mixing performance
In many applications the rotary jet provides the fastest and most efficient mixing results. It also handles gas dispersion (aeration, deaeration, carbonation), powder mixing and cleaning in place (CIP). Its patented rotary jet mixing technology is based on rotary jet head technology, which has been modified to handle mixing of liquids, gas and powder. The jet mixer for tanks can be used in tanks between 100 and 800,000 liters in size.
To meet your mixing needs Alfa Laval also offers a range of agitators and a magnetic coupled mixer.
Faster, effective mixing
When using the rotary jet the capacity can be increased, resulting in greater productivity, higher product quality and improved utilization of process plant resources.
Handles multiple applications
The mixer helps reduce capital expenditures and operating expenses while achieving fast and efficient mixing. A single jet mixer for tanks can handle liquid mixing, gas dispersion and powder dispersion applications – plus tank cleaning – without requiring separate equipment for each process and thereby delivering significant savings.
Effective, simplified design
The system offers savings in tank and supporting structure because the motor and pump can be placed on the floor. And at the same time the rotary jet being placed under the liquid surface is a hydraulically balanced system which does not create any significant loads on the tank. In addition to this its easy-to-install design facilitates retrofitting of existing tanks.
Making a good thing even better
A number of pre-engineered skid mounted pump units are available to complement the jet mixers. In addition to a jet mixer, the end-users also require a pump and instrumentation for their mixing system. To make it easy for them a number of pre-engineered unit with all the necessary equipment have been designed. For end-users this will save time and resources as they can bypass engineering and procurement. All they have to do is connect two pipes, do the electrical wiring, set up the variable frequency drive – and they are ready to go.
Product range
The Alfa Laval rotary jet head are available in four different models (IM 10, IM 15, IM 20, IM 25). They are designed for tank volumes between 100 and 800,000 liters in size and capable of handling re-circulation flow rates up to 90 m3/h.
